Accommodation
In New Zealand a large percentage of Kiwi families own holiday homes which they rent out when they are not using them. In keeping with our philosophy of intimate, family style travel, we will stay, for the most part, in Kiwi holiday homes. The ones we have chosen are at least 3 bedroom. Most have satellite TV and some even have wireless iinternet. Each couple will have their own bedroom, but will share a bathroom. The facilities allow some cooking. Rooms are not serviced daily and we are usually asked to tidy up upon leaving. We believe that you will find this much more personal and private than a motel and a lot more like home. Plus the locations are generally in the best spot for enjoying the scenery.
Transport
Your chariot is a Toyota Lucida 8 passenger van. With only 6 of us, there is a bit more room, but I liken it to a smallish domestic airliner. Because of space limitations each person will be limited to one piece of luggage and one personal item (laptop, purse, camera case, etc.)
